Does the new bridge change the tone a lot compare to the one piece on the NG ? I feel like this bass is closer to my DRoc 5 than the NG. The JT sound "stiffer", the note pop more and has less agressivity too

I like the tone on the slap - it's a little more laid back. Are those Dingwall strings as well? Steel or Nickel?

Nice. It would be interesting to play in ways that accentuate the differences too. I like the “woof” of a neck pickup, especially picked up by the neck. I could kind of hear a Jazz bass like scoop of the bridge plus neck too. The more bridge based settings are a bit twangy, not so favorite here…
I'd like to see a neckthrough version
